School-related Election Results for Minnetonka Schools

Today, November 4, 2025, the voters of our school district said yes to approving our building bond referendum.

The building bond will provide critical funding for security upgrades for all schools, modern science classrooms and multi-purpose gym/performance spaces at both middle schools, more cafeteria space and a renovated counseling center at MHS, among other projects. The referendum passed with a healthy 68.7% of the votes.

Thank you to our supportive community for your commitment to the health and vitality of this school district and the success of our students. Thank you to the many people who worked together to support the building bond referendum, including the dedicated members of our Facility Study Task Force, who led the effort to study our district’s facilities and to determine the most pressing needs.

We also had a School Board election this year, with three seats to be filled. Congratulations to the three who were elected. In alphabetical order they are Karen Jordan, Taunya Kolbinger, and Meghan Selinger (incumbent). The School Board will certify the results of the election at the School Board meeting on November 13. The new Board members will begin their terms in January 2026. Thank you to each of the five candidates who chose to run a campaign this year. We appreciate your dedication and support for the District.
