At Minnetonka Middle School West, we are fortunate to be part of a school community with many strengths, talented educators, engaged families, and a deep commitment to our students. As I join the MMW community, I am excited to listen, learn, and build on the strong work already happening. As an experienced principal, I believe strong schools are built through relationships, high expectations, excellent instruction, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement. I am proud of what our students and staff accomplish each day, and I believe we can honor and celebrate that success while continuing to grow together. Just as importantly, I believe school should be a place where both students and adults experience a genuine sense of joy, belonging, and purpose.

I believe meaningful improvement happens when we are willing to give and receive feedback, reflect on our practice, learn from one another, and continually look for ways to strengthen our work. My leadership is grounded in being present and connected to the daily experience of students and staff. You will find me in classrooms, talking with students, collaborating with teachers, and learning alongside our staff. I believe the best schools are never finished—they continue to learn, grow, and evolve. Our focus will be on thoughtful, consistent progress while celebrating the expertise, accomplishments, and contributions of the people who make MMW such a special place. We will work hard, support one another, celebrate our successes, and make room for the joy that is already such an important part of our school community.

I am honored to join Minnetonka Middle School West and look forward to partnering with our students, staff, families, and community. Together, we will build on the strengths and traditions that make MMW special while continuing to nurture a safe and welcoming learning community where every student feels a strong sense of belonging, has opportunities to discover and develop their strengths and interests, and is supported in reaching their highest potential. We will continue to foster an environment where students and adults feel known, valued, challenged, and empowered to learn and grow. My commitment is to help sustain the qualities that make MMW a wonderful place to learn and work while supporting our continued growth and success.

I look forward to getting to know our students, families, staff, and community and to building strong relationships along the way. Please feel free to reach out at any time. I am excited for all that we will learn, accomplish, and celebrate together.
